ABOUT US

OUR MISSION: The Sunshine Therapeutic Riding Center (STRC) is a 501(c)(3) equine-assisted therapy organization that strives to improve the lives of individuals of all age groups, including children with disabilities, through the partnership and therapeutic power of horses.

OUR VISION: To make hippotherapy (physical, occupational and speech therapy on horse back) and therapeutic riding services accessible to all individuals with disabilities in the greater Garland County area. These forms of therapy offer evidence-based benefits to the physical, emotional, and mental growth and development of people with disabilities.

STRC was approved by the IRS for a 501(c)(3) status on 8/26/19 – Tax ID 84-1747932.
